IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SHINNECOCK EAST:  Sites 69-103 are closed until further notice due to EXTREME erosion.  If you have a reservation in this site, please contact our office at (631) 854-4949.  Day tripping access is limited.  Please follow park signs.

The Suffolk County Parks System is truly one which all county residents can be proud of, as it provides us with quality leisure opportunities from Montauk to Huntington. Our Parks Department manages over 46,000 acres of parkland, offering a multitude of leisure time pursuits.  

Popular activities within the Suffolk County Parks System include golfing, camping, horseback riding, swimming, hiking, fishing, outer beach (shoreline) activities, boating, or visiting one of our historic sites such as the Big Duck, an all-time favorite.

Please Note: At Cedar Point, sites 2, 4, 8, 10, 14, 16, 18, 20, 134, 136, 138, 348, 352, 354, 527, 528, 529, 530, 531, 532, 533, 534, 535, 536, 537, 538, 539, 540, 542, 544, 615, 617, 621, 814, 815, 817, 818, 819, 820 and 824 will be closed for the season, for water spigot installation.
