Welcome to the online Office of the Suffolk County Clerk. From the Hamptons in the east to the high-tech industries in the west, Suffolk County is the crown jewel of New York State.

As County Clerk I am committed to reinventing how local government serves its constituents. Several years ago, my office became one of the first County Clerk's Offices in the nation to establish a presence on the World Wide Web. This site is an outgrowth of our original effort and will continue to grow.

The Suffolk County Clerk's Office continues to develop strategies and systems that promote real-time services and facilitate worldwide communication and access. Our office receives daily inquiries from people nationwide wanting more information and we are more than eager to comply. We are constantly working to strip away layers of bureaucracy, improve access to official records, and streamline operations while containing costs.

COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE EARNS A+ GRADE FOR TRANSPARENCY

The Suffolk County Clerk’s Office earned a grade of A+ from the Press Club of Long Island after it conducted an audit of 195 municipalities and agencies on Long Island with regard to their responsiveness and adherence to New York State Freedom of Information Law (F.O.I.L.).
