NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that SuffolkCounty is awarded $417,000.00 under the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services Reentry Services Grant.  On behalf of SuffolkCounty, the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council will receive these funds to support substance abuse and mental health treatment, transportation, housing, case management, and other needed services for parolees returning to SuffolkCounty from Prison. Agencies interested in providing such services on a fee for service basis are encouraged to contact:

Request for Qualified Per Diem Consultants

The Suffolk County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council is seeking per diem training and treatment consultants with experience in mental health and/or substance abuse treatment and training.

Training Consultants – Per diem consultants are needed to assist in providing training on the NYS Office of Mental Health and the NYS Department of Probation and Correctional Alternatives Curriculum entitled, CONNECT – Promoting Recovery for Persons with Serious Mental Illness and Co-occurring Substance Abuse Disorders on Probation or in ATI Programs.


Treatment Consultants – Per diem treatment consultants will assist in the provision of correctional treatment to probationers with various mental health and substance abuse disorders.
