Tobacco Related Behavior And Attitudes Of Adults
In order to assess the needs of the adult population regarding tobacco use, and to assure appropriate programming, a survey was conducted May – June 2001. The Executive Summary which follows, clearly defines adult smoking prevalence within Suffolk County, attitudes towards smoking, secondhand smoke, smoking cessation, tobacco advertising, government supported tobacco programs and policies, parental smoking and a variety of additionally significant issues. The resulting data will provide benchmarks by which measures of success can be obtained.
