Six Suffolk High School Students Cited by County Executive for Inspirational Artwork

This year’s contest was expanded to include graphic/computer design. As a result, prizes were awarded in two categories; freestyle/hand art and graphic/computer art.
“The talent displayed by these students is outstanding,” noted County Executive Steve Levy. “I want to congratulate the students for their commitment to helping educate others about the dangers of drunk driving through the use of artistic expression,” said Levy. Over 150 students from 12 Suffolk high schools participated in the art contest. The contest was open to all Suffolk County high school students, and was sponsored by Suffolk County STOP-DWI.
