Executive Steve Levy Honors National American Miss New York Teen Queen Crystal Rivera-Avila
Teen Queen:
Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy met with Crystal Rivera-Avila, the 2008 National American Miss New York Teen Queen Monday at the H. Lee Dennison Building to congratulate her victory and discuss her aspirations for the future. The eighteen-year-old Holbrook native won the volunteer service and actress categories, and was the third runner up in the casual wear category, as she claimed the coveted title of queen of the National American Miss competition in New York. Miss Rivera-Avila is currently enrolled in Suffolk County Community College’s nursing program and is pursuing a career as a registered nurse.
