Must be reliable, compassionate and have a desire to help others.

Responsibilities

Counsel and assist Medicare beneficiaries and their families with matters related to health insurance.  Present material and related updates to individuals and small groups.  Assist at public health events, workshops, and health fairs as schedule permits.  Complete required paperwork. Must be reliable, compassionate and have a desire to help others.

Special Requirements

A minimum of four hours each month is required.  Participation in periodic training will provide the tools needed to become a successful Counselor.
