The West Hills Dog Run off of Sweet Hollow Road is currently closed for maintenance.

The campground at Smith Point will be closed beginning on November 1, 2016 as we host the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County's Holiday Light Show.  In lieu of Smith Point, the Parks Department will be offering camping 7 nights per week at Indian Island Campground in Riverhead.


West Sayville:  August 22 & 23

Indian Island:  September 6 & 7

Timber Point:  September 12, 13 & 14

The courses will have 9 holes closed each day.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT SHINNECOCK EAST:  Sites 73-103 are closed until further notice due to EXTREME erosion.  If you have a reservation in this site, please contact our office at (631) 854-4949.  Day tripping access is limited.  Please follow park signs.

Please Note: At Cedar Point, sites 2, 4, 8, 10, 14, 16, 18, 20, 134, 136, 138, 348, 352, 354, 527, 528, 529, 530, 531, 532, 533, 534, 535, 536, 537, 538, 539, 540, 542, 544, 615, 617, 621, 814, 815, 817, 818, 819, 820 and 824 will be closed for the season, for water spigot installation.
