CDC has issued a travel alert for people traveling to regions and countries where Zika virus transmission is ongoing: Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Martinique, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Saint Martin, Suriname, Venezuela, Cape Verde, Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Dominican Republic.

FASD FACTS

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) are caused by a woman drinking alcohol during pregnancy. Alcohol in hte mother's blood passes to the baby through the umbilical cord. When a woman drinks alcohol, so does her baby.
