Inspector, Commanding Officer 2nd Precinct - Inspector Joseph Blaettler holds a Master of Science degree from Long Island University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.  He joined the Suffolk County Police Department in 1977.  He has been the Commanding Officer of the 2nd Precinct since February, 2005.
