Renders patrol and other police service to the political subdivisions of the Town of Islip (West), including the incorporated village of Brightwaters.


Inspector, Commanding Officer 3rd Precinct - Inspector Rios holds a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He joined the Suffolk County Police Department in 1981 and has been the Commanding Officer of the 3rd Precinct since June of 2009.
