1. Bidding is open to all persons at least 18 years of age, except Suffolk County Employees or their spouses. Successful bidders must possess and present valid identification at the time of sale.

2. All merchandise is sold in "as is" condition, there are no guarantees or warrantees. All clothing is believed to be new, with the exception of furs. Jewelry will be described along with any markings found on metals. Clear stones will be tested for "positive" or "negative" readings with an electronic diamond tester. There is no guarantee of the accuracy of the testing, or the type or quality of metals or their markings.

3. All sales are final, there will be no refunds, or returns.

4. The auctioneer's decision is final.
|
5. All purchased items become the responsibility of the buyer at the time of purchase.
|
6. The Police Department advises that you should inspect or have inspected any item that is purchased, before it is used. Please do not use or allow children to use any purchased item until you leave this property.

7. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on County property.
|
8. Small children must be supervised at all times.
|
9. Parking for the auction will only be permitted in marked stalls of the Headquarters North Parking Lot. No vehicle will be permitted to park on the side of any road within the Headquarters Complex.

10. Please bring your own appropriate food and drink, as there are none available at the auction site. On site portable toilet facilities are provided.
