RIVERHEAD, NY-- Suffolk County Sheriff Vincent F. DeMarco and Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine have teamed up to present a Project Lifesaver informational seminar on Tuesday, May 13th from 7:00 – 8:00 pm at the Brookhaven Town Hall Auditorium located at One Independence Hill in Farmingville.  Project Lifesaver is wristband technology that can be worn by individuals with cognitive impairments who have a tendency to wander. The device emits a signal that specially trained Deputy Sheriffs can track in the event the individual ever wanders off and gets lost.

The informational seminar will provide caregivers with valuable information about the program and an opportunity to schedule a follow up appointment with members of the Sheriff's Office Project Lifesaver Bureau.

For more information about Project Lifesaver, or to register for the event, visit the Project Lifesaver page, or call (631) 852-4028.
