A 25 year-old Central Islip man was remanded to the Suffolk County Jail this afternoon with a $10,000 bond following an arrest last evening for DWI while travelling with his son and fiancé.

Deputy Sheriff Thomas Young stopped Bryan Asencio on Caleb's Path in Brentwood when he failed to stop at a four-way stop sign.  On interview, the subject displayed clues that he was intoxicated.  Also in the 1997 Infinity were his 7-year-old son and fiancé.  Mr. Asencio was arrested and charged with Aggravated DWI (Leandra’s Law), Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Driving with a Suspended License.  The child was released to his grandmother.

A blood test is pending lab results.  Mr. Asencio will return to court in Central Islip on Friday, December 16.
