FLEEING FELONS CHARGED Three suspects were arrested and charged yesterday in an incident which began with a Larceny in Riverhead and ended when the suspects crashed in West Sayville.  The driver, Cordell Tucker, 24 years old, from Brooklyn, and his two passengers, Rashawn Naquan Smith, 26 years old of Brooklyn, and Essence Smith, 18 years old of Troy, New York, were arrested at the scene of the crash and are currently charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd. SHERIFFS OFFICE PROVIDE ESCORT FOR TRANSPORT OF WORLD TRADE CENTER BEAM Manorville, NY -   A convoy of Sheriffs and emergency service vehicles today provided escort for a 13-ton steel beam which had originated from Tower One of the World Trade Center. INMATE'S ESCAPE ATTEMPT FOILED On Tuesday, April 12, 2011, Inmate Jose Nunez-Garcia scaled the inner fence of an exercise yard at the Riverhead Correctional Facility.  Garcia, cut from security razor wire, found himself trapped between the multiple layers of security fencing at the facility.  He ran along the narrow passage, unaware of the coordinated response closing in on him.  Within seven minutes Inmate Jose Nunez-Garcia was secured within the facility.
