25 beaches are
closed to bathing following continued heavy rainfall
The
beach closure issued for West Oaks Recreation Club Beach, in the Town of Islip, has
been lifted, as results of recent samples show the water quality to be within
acceptable levels.
The
following beaches are closed due to the finding of bacteria at levels that exceed
acceptable criteria.
