Aerial Larvicide Notification

The Suffolk County Department of Public Works’ Division of Vector Control plans to treat parts of the following marshes by helicopter to control mosquito larvae.  Should weather conditions prevent completion of the work, it will be continued on the next suitable day.

Time and date of the application: July 18-19, 2017, 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Method of application:  Low altitude, large droplet liquid applicationName of Pesticide: VectoBac 12AS Liquid Concentrate (Bti – Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis) and Altosid Liquid Larvicide Concentrate (Methoprene)
