Aerial Larvicide Notification for June 6 and June 7

The Suffolk County Department of Public Works’ Division of Vector Control plans to treat parts of the following marshes by helicopter to control mosquito larvae.  Should weather conditions prevent completion of the work, it will be continued on the next suitable day.

Time and date of the application: June 6 - 7, 2018, 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Method of application:  Low altitude, granular application

Name of Pesticide: VectoBac12AS (Bti – Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis) EPA Reg. #73049-38 and Altosid Liquid Larvicide Concentrate (Methoprene) EPA Reg. #2724-446

Marshes that will be treated are marked “Yes.”
