COVID-19 Case Update - November 19, 2021

 Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on November 19, 2021. Last updated November 18, 2021

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

  • 1,109,701 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 1,231
  • 1,001,957 people have completed their vaccine series, an increase of 757
  • 74.9% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose
  • 88.4% of the population ages 18+ has received at least one dose
  • 67.6% percent of the total population has completed the vaccine series
  • 81. 4% of the population ages 18+ has completed the vaccine series.
  • 79.1% of the population ages 12+ has completed the vaccine series.

  • Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering vaccine to Suffolk County residents who are age 5 and older. No appointment is needed. Medical practitioners and EMS are on-site at all times to answer questions and tend to concerns. Click here for locations and times and parental consent forms.   • If you are confined to your home and wish to receive your COVID-19 vaccination, call 311. We will take your name and you will be called to schedule your free vaccination at home.

Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data is from November 18, 2021

  • 133 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 1  in 24 hours
  • 17  were new admissions
  • 23 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU),  an increase of 1 in 24 hours
  • 14 patients were in the ICU and intubated
  • 19  were discharged since the last report
  • 17,236  have been discharged since March 22, 2020

  • 3,101 hospital beds, 590 available, 19%
