Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on March 21, 2022. Last updated March 20, 2022

COVID-19 Vaccine Information

  • 1,212,605 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 78.
  • 1,101,144 people are fully vaccinated, an increase of 165.
  • 75.1% percent of the total population is fully vaccinated.
  • 79.4% of the population ages 5 and older is fully vaccinated.
  • 95.0% of the population ages 18 and older has received at least one dose.
  • 86.1% of the population ages 18 and older is fully vaccinated.
  • 48.7% of the population ages 18 and older have had a booster dose.

  • Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines to Suffolk County residents who are eligible. Appointments are recommended.   • 57 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 4 in 24 hours.
  • 3 were new admissions.
  • 10  patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 1 in 24 hours.
  • 6  patients were in the ICU and intubated.
  • 6 were discharged since the last report.
  • 23,514 have been discharged since March 22, 2020.
