Two Beaches in Suffolk County Remain Closed to Bathing

 

 

The Suffolk County Department of Health Services has closed the following beaches to bathing due to the finding of bacterial levels in excess of acceptable criteria. 

·        Town of Islip’s Lake Ronkonkoma Beach in Ronkonkoma

·        Copiague Harbor Beach in Copiague

 

Health officials have deemed all other permitted beaches in Suffolk County that are open for the season to be safe for bathing at this time.
