Covid-19 Case Update January 20, 2021 5pm

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on January 20, 2021. Last updated January 19, 2020.
COVID-19 Vaccine Information 
As of January 20 at 11 a.m., on Long Island
•    144, 750 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been received
•    130,179 doses have been administered, 90%

COVID-19 Viral Testing: On January 19: 
•    15,580  COVID-19 tests were administered
•    2,304,358  total tests have been administered since March
•    1,224 new cases were reported
•    129,804 total cases have been reported since March
•    5.6% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
•    7.6% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 7.5% positive on a 7-day average
•    7.9% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 8.2% positive on a 7-day average
Antibody Testing
•    34,208  individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
•    319,404 total were tested for antibodies
•    21 fatalities
•    2,624 total fatalities
Hospitalization data from January 19, 2021
•    863 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 1 in 24 hours
•    94 were new admissions
•    134  patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 9 in 24 hours
•    80 patients were in the ICU and intubated
•    87 were discharged since the last report
•    9,443 discharged since March 22
Hospital Capacity
•    3,228 hospital beds, 618 available, 19%
•    438 ICU beds, 90 available, 21%
