COVID-19 CASE UPDATE - November 11, 2020, 5:30 p.m.

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on November 11, 2020. Last updated November 10, 2020 

  • 1,189,429 COVID-19 tests have been administered, an addition of 12,161 tests  
  • 4.4 percent of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
  • 3.3 percent of those tested on Long Island in the last reported 24-hour period tested positive for COVID-19
  • 3.4 percent of those tested in Suffolk County in the last reported 24-hour period tested positive for COVID-19

Tested Positive for COVID-19

  • 51,744 total cases
  • 412 new cases

Antibody Testing

  • 288,967 total were tested for antibodies
  • 30,359 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies

Fatalities

  • 1 fatality
  • 2,023 total fatalities

Hospitalization data from November 10, 2020

  • 77 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 6 in 24 hours
  • 13 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), no change in 24 hours
  • 16 new admissions
  • 9 discharged
  • 6,121 discharged since March 22

Hospital Capacity

  • 3,002 hospital beds, 680 available, 23 percent
  • 378 ICU beds 96 available, 25 percent
