The mission of the Division of Community Mental Hygiene Services is to enable persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse and their families to access an appropriate array of services and supports to maximize an individual’s potential within the family and community.
The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Subcommittee of the Community Mental Hygiene Advisory Board is made up of consumers, parents, advocates, professionals and agency providers who consider developmental disabilities issues and advise the Director of Community Mental Hygiene Services as necessary through the Advisory Board. The meetings are open to the public. Guests are asked to call in advance.
