February 11th Job Fair will Feature Opportunity to Apply for Census Jobs with an Hourly Wage of $23.50 Per Hour
Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone today announced that the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center will host a range of employment events in February to assist residents in their job searches. In addition to hosting a job fair with over 25 employers in attendance, a number of individual businesses are seeking new employees at hiring and career exploration events hosted by the Suffolk County Department of Labor, Licensing and Consumer Affairs.
“As we enter the new year, it is the perfect time for our residents to explore new opportunities and work towards furthering their career,” said County Executive Bellone. “Next month’s job fair, hiring events, and career exploration events will connect job seekers to meaningful and gainful employment, including an opportunity to work for the Census Bureau with competitive pay as they prepare for the 2020 Census.”
