- 42.4 percent of those tested were confirmed positive for COVID-19
- 25,497 confirmed cases, up 1,014 from April 16

- 1,562 patients are hospitalized, down 23 from April 16
- 521 of hospitalized patients are in the intensive care unit (ICU), a decrease of 16 patients from April 16

- 3,442 hospital beds; 740 ICU beds
- 122 COVID-19 additional patients were discharged from the hospital in the past 24 hours
