• 5.6% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
• 7.3% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 7.8% positive on a 7-day average
• 8.5% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 8.6% positive on a 7-day average

Fatalities

Hospitalization data from January 17, 2021
• 829 individuals were hospitalized, an increase of 9 in 24 hours
• 77 were new admissions
• 148 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 9 in 24 hours
• 86 patients were in the ICU and intubated
• 58 were discharged since the last report
• 9,306 discharged since March 22
Hospital Capacity
