Covid-19 Case Update February 7, 2021 6pm

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on February 7, 2021. Last updated February 6, 2020.
 
COVID-19 Vaccine Information  As of February 7 at 11 a.m., on Long Island
•        345,505  COVID-19 vaccine doses have been received
•        274,566 doses have been administered, 79%
 
COVID-19 Viral Testing: On February 6: 
•        16,379 COVID-19 tests were administered
•        2,605,608 total tests have been administered since March
•        854 new cases were reported
•        149,018  total cases have been reported since March
•        5.7% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
•        5.2% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 5.6% positive on a 7-day average
•        5.1% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 5.5% positive on a 7-day average

Antibody Testing, Suffolk County
•    36,854 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
•    330,605 total were tested for antibodies
Fatalities, Suffolk County
•    16 fatalities
•    2,879 total fatalities
Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data from February 6, 2021
•    647 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 8 in 24 hours
•    63 were new admissions
•    140  patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an increase of 8 in 24 hours
•    87 patients were in the ICU and intubated
•    79  were discharged since the last report
•    10,767 discharged since March 22
Hospital Capacity, Suffolk County
•    3,208 hospital beds, 724 available, 23%
•    440 ICU beds, 88 available, 20%
