Covid-19 Case Update March 14, 2021 5:15pm

Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on March 14, 2021. Last updated March 13, 2021.
COVID-19 Vaccine Information -  As of March 14, 2021  
Suffolk County 
•        313,707 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 4,561
•        21.2% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose
•        166,781 people have completed their vaccine series, an increase of 3,536
•        Demographics can be found on the NYSDOH vaccine tracker
•        455,365 was the weekly allocation of COVID-19 vaccine first doses fully delivered to New York providers during the week 3/8-3/14.

COVID-19 Viral Testing- On March 13, 2021:
•    12,553 COVID-19 tests were administered
•    3,118,816 total tests have been administered since March 2020
•    512  new cases were reported
•    170,738 total cases have been reported since March 2020
•    5.5% of those tested since March have been confirmed positive for COVID-19
•    4.1% tested positive in Suffolk County yesterday; 4.2% positive on a 7-day average
•    4.3% tested positive on Long Island yesterday; 4.3% positive on a 7-day average

Antibody Testing Suffolk County
•    42,542 individuals not previously tested for COVID-19 have tested positive for antibodies
•    350,589 total were tested for antibodies
Fatalities, Suffolk County
•    3 fatalities
•    3,158 total fatalities
Hospitalization, Suffolk County, data from March 13, 2021
•    379  individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 6  in 24 hours
•    39  were new admissions
•    72 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 4 in 24 hours
•    46 patients were in the ICU and intubated
•    44 were discharged since the last report
•    12,368 have been discharged since March 22,2020
Hospital Capacity, Suffolk County
•    3,152  hospital beds, 776 available, 25%
•    435 ICU beds, 107 available, 25%
