All residents of Suffolk County residing in flood prone neighborhoods, or areas, that have experienced flooding as a result of coastal storms, tidal flooding, freshwater, or drainage issues from previous storms or runoff should consider alternative arrangements and avoid remaining in these areas

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone has declared a State of Emergency for Suffolk County as of 8:00am today. 

County Executive Bellone to Create Military and Veterans Suicide Prevention Task Force

County Executive Bellone announced the creation of the Suffolk County Military and Veterans Suicide Prevention Taskforce under the auspice of the Suffolk County Veterans Service Agency.
