A meeting of the John J. Foley Skilled Nursing Facility Oversight Committee has been scheduled to be held on:

Tomarken, MD, MPH, MBA, MSW, Commissioner of the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, said today that the beach closure issued for Huntington Beach Community Association in Centerport, NY has been lifted, as results of recent samples collected show the water quality to be within acceptable levels.

James L. Tomarken, MD, MPH, MBA, MSW, Commissioner of the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, said today that the beach closure issued for Lake Ronkonkoma Beach in Islip, NY has been lifted, as results of recent samples collected show the water quality to be within acceptable levels.

James L. Tomarken, MD, MSW, MPH, MBA, Commissioner of the Suffolk County Department of Health Services, said today that Lake Ronkonkoma Beach in Islip, NY is closed to bathing due to the finding of bacterial levels in excess of acceptable criteria. 

In the event that a quorum of members cannot be achieved, the Board of Health meeting will be canceled. It is advisable to call 631-853-3035 the day of the meeting to find out if the meeting will take place.
