Departmental Purchasing Unit

The purchasing unit maintains, records and coordinates purchases of equipment, supplies and materials for the entire Department of Public Works. Its functions include preparing central purchasing requisitions and DPW purchase orders, bid specifications and DPW contract awards for supplies/services that are specific to the operations of DPW only. The department also processes requisitions for contract renewal and new awards, and coordinates and maintains contract lists.
